During my recent stay at Happy Laugh Mountain View, I was struck by the balance of luxury and affordability. The private room offered a lovely hill view and was quite cozy, giving me a welcoming escape from the hustle and bustle of Ella. While it's about 3-4 km from the main area, the tranquility of the location, near the iconic Nine Arch Bridge, was a fine trade-off. Housekeeping was attentive; I particularly appreciated their prompt response when I had to miss breakfast due to a cold-the staff kindly brought it to my room, complete with a pot of tea, which was a nice touch. The terrace overlooking the garden was perfect for enjoying some essential downtime. For around £4 per person a night, I can confidently say this spot represents excellent value, especially given the delightful breakfast and the overall amicable atmosphere. Happy Laugh Mountain View proves that you can find both value and comfort without sacrificing experience.
